A valid debit or credit card is required to complete an online voucher purchase. Payment is taken by the company and will appear on your bank statement as either ‘The Imperial Torquay Limited’ or ‘The Imperial Torquay’. Credit Card details are entered over a secure webpage, using a 256-bit SSL certificate (Secured Sockets Layer) from Trustwave. Payment is made using 3D Secure protocol which is designed as an additional security layer for online credit and debit card payments.
A contract of sale does not exist between you and the Company, until such time as the payment has cleared and a confirmation of purchase has been issued, irrespective of whether or not this was received.
Details entered on the voucher, including but not limited to email addresses, postal addresses or contact details are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. The Company cannot be held responsible for any errors relating to the incorrect input of data. Confirmation should be checked as soon as it is received to ensure that the details are correct.
You verify that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the Gift Voucher ordered.
To purchase any vouchers or experiences that include alcoholic beverages, you must be 18 years in age or older.
A minimum age of redemption might apply for some vouchers or experiences.
All vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase date.
Vouchers can be delivered via Royal Mail postal service or electronically.
Electronic Vouchers are delivered immediately as a PDF attachment, to the email address selected.
Postal vouchers are issued by the Company, within 3 days of purchase, and are sent out via first class mail. The company cannot be held responsible for any delays in receiving the voucher. Should you require the voucher to be sent out via any other means (Special Delivery), please contact the Company directly to discuss. Additional charges may apply.
Vouchers can also be collected in person, by prior arrangement.
All vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise agreed by us.
Lost or stolen vouchers will not be refunded nor be replaced.
We reserve the right not to accept vouchers which may be damaged or defaced.
Our terms and conditions, or the terms and conditions of the specific vouchers do not affect your statutory rights.

Cancellation Policy
Fully flexible with free cancellation up to 4.00pm the day before arrival. After this the first night’s stay will be charged. No deposit needed, simply provide a credit/debit card to secure your reservation with full payment taken on check in, and payment for any extras when you check out..

Pre-payment to secure our best rates at the time of booking. Payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. With this in mind, it may be advisable to take out holiday insurance.

Please see the cancellation policy with your booking provider for full terms & conditions. Cancellations must be placed through your booking provider.
N.B room nights are: number of rooms x number of nights (e.g. 6 rooms x 3 nights = 18 room nights).

Fully flexible with free cancellation up to 4pm, 14 days before arrival. After this the full stay will be charged. No deposit needed initially, simply provide a credit/debit card to secure your reservation with the full payment taken 14 days before arrival.

Payment for the full stay is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation or contracted under our Group Terms & Conditions. Payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. With this in mind, it may be advisable to take out holiday insurance.
Children of all ages are welcome to stay at The Imperial Torquay and infants (aged 0 - 2) stay for free. Children (aged 3 - 16) will be on the same rate (e.g. bed & breakfast) as the adults on their reservation.

Children aged 12 and under are welcome to stay for free in parent's room when using existing bed(s) in room.
Children's Breakfast & Dinner
Free for children 5 and under with a parent already having breakfast & dinner.

13+ are charged for an adult's meal.
We have designated rooms that are available to book for guests that wish to bring their dog, these are based on the garden level.
Please call us to make arrangements if you wish to book a room that accommodates you and your dog. There is a £10 per dog, per night charge which includes a dog bed and water bowl.
We have beautiful grounds and local walks for you and your dog to enjoy, they unfortunately can’t have full hotel access to public areas, and they won’t be able to join you in our Regatta restaurant, function rooms, or the conservatory areas of Palm Court.
We request that dogs are kept on a lead when in public spaces and that you utilise the dog bins provided when required. We ask that if you leave your dog in your room unattended (only for a little while please) that you advise reception so that any of our team who need to service your room or make deliveries to it are aware. We don’t unfortunately have appropriate facilities for giant breeds.
Guide dogs and accredited assistance dogs are welcome throughout our hotel.
At The Imperial Torquay we use a range of specially selected products in order to deliver a first class treatment experience. Should you have any questions related to specific product type, brand or suitability please do not hesitate to contact us.
The minimum age for all treatments is 16. Patch test required 24 hours before any tint treatments. All treatments require pre-payment.
All pamper days are 50% deposit and full payment 7 days prior.
Cancellation policy of 72 hours for pamper days or group bookings and 48 hours for individual treatment bookings or full amount will be payable.
Please arrive 20 minutes before booked treatment time. Treatments which start late will be cut short to avoid causing inconvenience for other guests. All treatment times listed include a small consultation and changing time.
Medical Considerations
Some Spa treatments are not suitable for those with certain medical conditions, our therapists will follow industry guidelines. Please do not hesitate to contact our Spa team on xx for advice on specific conditions and how they may impact your treatment options.
Allergies and Intolerances
We use many essential oils within our treatments and spa experiences, please discuss any allergies you have with our staff prior to your treatment or use of the spa.
Pregnancy
Please be aware that some of the spa experiences and treatments are unsuitable for pregnant guests. We do have a specifically designed treatment for expectant mothers, this is suitable after the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
